Pumawasi Lodge is located 50 km north of Cuzco, on the village of Calca in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. From downtown Cuzco, take the Via Vilcanota (the route that goes to Calca and Urubamba).
The city of Cuzco and Cuzco airport are 50 minutes drive away. Machu Picchu is two hours and fifty minutes away by minivan and train.
Calca (spelled Khallka in Quechua) has a mild climate and is considered an all-year-round destination. The landscape is splendid.
On a hillside
Our building is located 10 minutes away from the plaza de Calca, on the side of an elevated hill, which gives us a privileged view.
There is a quiet eucalyptus forest, varied vegetation, and bird-watching opportunities.
Hot springs
We are surrounded by relaxing thermal baths, nearby archaeological areas and kind people.
